Just a good match for a cursory stop in Southold with outstanding value for money. The sunset view from our room was unforgettable. Check out O’malleys down the road for great burgers and late-night hours.

We soaked up the sun by the private beach and explored nearby Greenport’s live music scene. Marilyn's breakfasts were the perfect way to start our days. The cozy rooms and charming vibe made our stay unforgettable. Definitely a great spot for relaxing and fun excursions!
The only downside was that our room's ocean view was somewhat blocked by trees, but it didn’t ruin our overall experience.

The charming house features cute rooms and lovely gardens. However, the bathroom was uncomfortably small, and being on a busy road made it hard to sleep. The rocky beach across the street offers shallow water, and while chairs are available, umbrellas are not. Breakfast was enjoyable and served buffet-style, allowing interaction with fellow guests.

Couples seeking relaxation will love this place
Marilyn, the host, made me feel like royalty, serving up gourmet breakfasts that were so good I couldn’t resist taking pictures. The private beach, just across the street, was the perfect spot for some alone time with a bottle of wine.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but worth it in the end.

missingWrote a review on Jul 28comfortable bedvaried breakfastbeautiful decorsmall bathroom
Charming accommodations with beautifully curated decor elevate the overall experience. Incredibly comfortable beds make it easy to catch some Z's after a full day of exploring, and the variety of homemade breakfast options, including frittatas and potato pancakes, kept the mornings exciting.
A few inconveniences could tweak a smoother stay. The bathrooms are on the small side, which might feel cramped during busy times. Also, being right on a main road, traffic noise is inescapable. it’s muted, but some light sleepers may find it disruptive. Parking can get tight during peak seasons, which adds a slight hassle when returning after a day out. If you're fond of beach day lounging under an umbrella, the lack of such amenities might leave you wanting more.

I had an enchanting stay at Shorecrest B&B, where the breakfasts rival any five-star hotel. Marilyn's hospitality and the serene beach access made my journey lovely. The traffic noise was occasionally distracting. I'll definitely return for those immaculate gardens and the warm atmosphere.
